Sheer, blackout and decorative curtain fabrics

The fabric should be selected according to how the room is used, the direction of the sun and the amount of privacy required. Our collections include light and refined sheers, decorative linen-look fabrics, textured blends, velvet and full blackout options. For bedrooms and media rooms, blackout can be specified as a dedicated curtain layer or as a lining behind a decorative face fabric.

• Sheer curtains: soften daylight and provide daytime privacy while keeping a room bright and open.
• Blackout curtains: reduce incoming light for bedrooms, nurseries, hotel rooms and home cinemas.
• Decorative curtains: add texture, colour and acoustic softness to living rooms, salons and formal spaces.
• Thermal and lined solutions: help reduce glare and heat gain around exposed glazing while improving the body and fall of the curtain.

Curtain styles and headings

The heading controls the rhythm of the folds and determines the hardware required. Ripple-fold curtains create clean, continuous waves and are ideal for contemporary interiors and concealed ceiling tracks. American pleat, pinch pleat and tailored pleat styles give a more structured finish. Rod, eyelet and decorative heading options are available where the design calls for visible hardware.

Fullness is calculated according to the selected heading, fabric behaviour and final appearance. We do not use one fixed fabric ratio for every project. The goal is to achieve consistent folds without making the curtain unnecessarily heavy or too flat.

Tracks, rods and concealed installations

Curtains can be installed on manual hand-drawn tracks, cord-operated systems, decorative rods or purpose-built motorized tracks. Ceiling mounting is often the cleanest solution for full-height curtains. Where gypsum work is still in progress, we can coordinate the required recess, fixing support and electrical point before the ceiling is closed.

Curved and corner tracks are measured to suit the actual site. Track selection is based on the span, fabric weight, number of curtain layers and whether the curtain opens from the centre or stacks to one side.

Measurement, tailoring and installation

Every order begins with accurate dimensions. During the site survey, we check the window width and height, surrounding walls, ceiling level, furniture clearance, curtain stack space and any obstruction such as handles, air-conditioning units or radiators. The curtains are then cut and sewn to the project dimensions, pressed, dressed and installed by our team.
